@georgetakei The “rhetorical question” one is alive and well - questions in Spanish start with one and end with “?”
And the interrobang never died - it is, in fact, not very old (50-ish years) and I use it whenever it’s called for ‽‽‽
I'm a secretary and I have coworkers who confuse colons with semi-colons and periods with commas. I can just image what would happen with these. I love interrobang, though 😸
@georgetakei Some of these are also harder to read. I can understand why they're gone and we just use multiple punctuation marks instead to express ourselves.
@georgetakei A few of these have definite value, but I would argue that in particular interrobang is actually something we specifically need. It's basically used a lot in writing but has to come out messy with multiple punctuation marks together (which looks unprofessional and wrong.)
