@rbreich@bloor Having spent a couple of years now working for a company that doesn't have shareholders - it's made it very difficult for me to ever want to work for a company with them, especially American ones. Last company I worked for was US - CEO had an accident, retired and was replaced by someone who literally hired a guy called "Shrek" to basically gut the company and optimise for shareholder value.
@rbreich I've been thinking about a Netflix subscription. I'd really like them to know that this is what decided me. I'm going to get my hi-fi working instead and read more.
@rbreich I'm sorry Mr. Reich but I immediately thought of several phrases one hears in the military quite often but I'm sure you'll understand when I refrain from that.
I have chosen instead, from The Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue, they are "Dicked In The Nob" and who live "To Diddle" all others. When they in fact need to be "Dewitted".
