Is there a grade higher than A+??

Thebratdragon ,
@Thebratdragon@mastodon.scot avatar

@georgetakei yes, it is grammatically correct.

Fasgadh ,

@georgetakei
And somebody asks if you would mark it as correct!

Blame whoever wrote the question!

Assignment not only completed, but also with minimal effort. That's how we like it.

Other answers would receive a lower mark. Not only is it the correct answer, it is the most correct answer.

@georgetakei Why do you ask?

Toadman628 ,
@Toadman628@mstdn.party avatar

@georgetakei Well, having written tests years ago, this answered the question. If the behavioral objectives were to promote more critical thinking, the answer falls short. This is just an example of what to avoid in test quality questions.

In the EU we have an energy consumption label for home appliances. It started with Class A to G, but with advances in energy effiniecy we added A++ and A+++
Now we are back to A to G where https://www.europarl.europa.eu/news/en/press-room/20160701IPR34483/energy-efficiency-of-home-appliances-meps-call-for-more-ambitious-a-to-g-scale

rotopenguin ,
@rotopenguin@mastodon.social avatar

@georgetakei no, because the student needs to learn that smartass answers seldom have good outcomes. Reading the intent of the person posing a question is a more important skill than reading the actual question.

I would not only mark it as correct, but also reevaluate my tasks, if I wanted something else as an answer.
