Rumored new 4K Chromecast may fix long-standing storage issues

It's still $50, would have a new remote, and will hopefully not have 8GB of storage.

@arstechnica my 4K CCWGTV became very laggy with the update that rounded the app icons. Probably worth just getting a used Apple TV on that TV since the one on my main TV is flawless.

@arstechnica Android TV is still a laggy mess even with good specs. And the new Apple TV box is down around $100 and is amazing, has 64GB storage to start. Good device even for those outside the Apple ecosystem. The only advantage I get as an iPhone user is the built-in software remote. Oh, and I can AirPlay to it, but I never use that. You can put SteamLink on it and stream to it from a PC. Also, no ads in the UI.
