@arstechnica , maybe people are learning about their nonsensical console plans. They made me regret getting mine.

It will likely just accelerate their plans to make all their gaming IP into a "cloud only" (running on their computers, not yours) streaming service where you own nothing but pay as if you do. Daddy Satya wants to rent seek as much as possible.

The XBox hardware is a cost burden to them and they only keep it around to not "lose face" against Sony at this point.
