It's the same damn thing, really: A handful of people so powerful they bend the laws of society around them and suck the life out of everyone and poison everything else. You had a whole Revolution over this? Was it only about /where/ the power was concentrated? Was it only to establish an 'American' Monarchy/Oligarchy?
