kulturhack , 2 months ago @arstechnica Just spit-balling here from an utterly nontechnical perspective, but in terms of Ocam’s Razor, it’s much easier to sell a $200 device (affordable luxury) as opposed to a $200 app (hideously overpriced in terms of phones). Just sayin’.
