Indeed. Much as I am warmed by his ability to own his error and make amends, I am even more heartened by the acceptance it earned. It seems so often these days that if someone blunders, they just get canceled. Most attempts at apology get written off as fake, canned, or as a politician's "non-apology."

This error deserved a path to redemption and the coach took it. Nice to see that, and to see it allowed to work.
