@arstechnica just wait until the 50,000,000 or so pounds of those satellites start deorbiting after their 5 year life expectancy and burning up in earth's upper atmosphere, then we'll see how profitable this is.
@arstechnica This quote from the article tells me that the whole analysis is suspect: “Because Starlink is part of SpaceX's portfolio, the company's true financial situation is private.”
Unless we see the books, I remain exceedingly skeptical that they are actually cash flow positive solely from organic operations.
