The BMW i4 eDrive40 might be the best electric sedan on sale today

This rear-wheel drive EV is efficient, practical, and has class-leading technology.

@arstechnica I've got one, it’s light years ahead of the Tesla I ditched for it. It’s still far from perfect, but a very nice ride. Bummer it’s not NACS, but Tesla is on the way out anyway. Elon is gonna kill it. I’m not sure that’s the way to go anymore.

Since it’s built on the 4-series platform it’s very close to a 3-series.

@arstechnica why are rear-wheel ev's trendy now? seems odd to rule out all cold-weather markets for a vehicle technology that has at best fragile adoption

@arstechnica Yet another review which doesn't touch the 2 awful truths - 1) How does the car handle Privacy/how does it perform when opting out of data-sharing (f at all possible)? and 2) How is the Car with ZERO subscription services?

As a tech site, I expect better of Ars - please start including this information in ALL car reviews.

As is, when I see "Class leading Technology" I hear that it's great at spying on the "owner".
