@arstechnica I want an option for an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H. For 2000 dollar price tag I want a top end chip.

@arstechnica I already pre-ordered the new screen! Having a 60hz screen on my laptop after going from my 144hz gaming setup and phone was always jarring, and the improved scaling will be awesome on linux. This is why I bought a framework!

@arstechnica Genuinely glad to see that they're continuing to enhance their core product.

I supported Framework out of the gate by buying a 1st -gen 13”, which has irreparable CMOS battery issues and, two years on, still doesn't have Intel WiFi 6E support. There's no discounted trade-in path to the newer, improved components. The Linux BIOS updater is also buggy and underdeveloped.

As much of a letdown as it's been, I haven't ruled out future Framework models once things have matured a bit.
