From the perspective of an landlord, he doesnt have a stable source of emplyement and I wouldnt want to rent out to some kinda Hollywood Star.
They just dont seem like they are "normal", I just want jeff from Accounting. He pays on the 1th and I wont have any wild Problems with him.
I doubt its racism renting markets in any good location are crazy competitve and beeing mad that one guy rejected you is far from reality.
If he is so rich he could and should buy no problem.
@georgetakei Theres so much going on here that's so racist. Thing that jumps out to me is the levelling power of racism. It doesn't matter that Wendell Pierce is wealthy, has been embraced by a major American industry, and is beloved by many (including me!). Racism will willfully ignore all of that and oppress him. Money won't stop them.
@georgetakei Sorry that happened to him. In perhaps more positive news, I was there recently, and I think it's safe to say it got un-gentrified again (but watch your back)
