I worked for a company that sold a lot of backup internet devices to businesses
Cool thing, when the cable or fiber goes out in an area, it tends to go out for a lot of people. All the cellular backups and hotspots try to go online at the same time blitzing the cell towers and providing horrible service and minimal bandwidth.
Let's see...if I recall correctly my internet may have been out approximately 12-24 hours over the course of the past year. Of course my phone had service most of those hours.
$360/year to make sure my tablet isn't down for 12 hours. Seems like a good deal.
