Well, almost everything becomes expensive when it goes from being a mass-marketed commodity to a specialty item. 12AX7 vacuum tubes are about three times what they were just a few years ago.

But if we are all "forced" (her word) to drive electric cars, how will the price of gas matter? I don't care how much something costs if no one needs it.
