@arstechnica How can an article about Microsoft saying it will prioritize security over AI have no mention of Recall?

@arstechnica So we're all fucked, is it?

@arstechnica That's completely meaningless, as CEO he was already responsible for it. It's a deflection of responsibility to imply that he wasn't, he's simply avoiding accountability for the past.

@arstechnica Does that mean he goes to jail when the AI gets somebody killed or does it just mean he's personally obligated to be the one apologizing when it happens?

@arstechnica How about they start by rehiring the whistleblower, and firing everyone who knew about the vulnerability and didn’t get it fixed?

@arstechnica This is a good reason to not keep anything important in the cloud-if MS can screw over the government, then private citizens have no defense. The hackers don't care.

If they really mean it, Microsoft's CEO will be gone before Boeing's.

"personally responsible for security flaws" makes it sound like he's the one going in there and adding them on purpose
