She also let herself get caught up in the middle, trying to squeeze thru, while others went for the outside and almost won.

I used to run track, and it's an unfortunate accident. It happens in tight cluster like that.

@georgetakei don't really see a fair solution, though.
Could adjust rules for future competitions to maybe allow multiple races and take best time for each competitor? But can't fix it for this time.
