What's bizarre to me is that the FDA banned tryptophan for 20 years based on a single bad batch out of Japan.

So with this product they can't even do a simple recall?

@arstechnica This is precisely why psychedelics and other drugs should be legal and regulated, so people can access things that have been tested rather than trying sketchy “legal” stuff you can get at a smoke shop or buying drugs on the black market.

Hopefully they figure out what’s causing this. And if you want mushrooms, probably safest to just do it yourself.
