SCOTUS has ruled that presidents are essentially monarchs who can commit crimes, bribery is legal, federal regulatory agencies have no authority to keep us safe, and homeless people can be punished for being homeless.

Is it any wonder why public approval of this court is so low?

@rbreich

It should be referred to as the Trump party. He owns it. What does he do with the things he owns? He puts his name on it. We should just get with the program and call the entire party the Trump party.

@rbreich is maybe the presidential approval high by any chance?

@rbreich dude! They DO NOT CARE. If Trump wins the game is over and they will have won for at least a generation.

@rbreich Biden can now publicly issue a hit on a few RW justices and it will be official.

@rbreich I am particularly disappointed by the part where committing a crime by using official powers absolves the crime, rather than further deepening it. This notion in America that the poewrful deserve less oversight than the weak or the poor is so nonsensical. Public servants should be under more scrutiny, not less. Presidents should be concerned that their activity is legal, it seems like its part of the oath, right? I'm just an adult fluent english speaker, so what do I know?

@rbreich Not just a monarch. Modern european monarchs don't have any political power whatsoever. They basically made the president an emperor.
