Maybe not enough people around the city know about Scarecrow, and what an amazing archive it is. Scarecrow is where you can go when the movie you're looking for isn't streaming, isn't available anywhere else. Access to the history of the movies is what they offer, with maybe more movies in their collection than not.

It's not frickin' Blockbuster, it's important. Anyone who loves movies and has some money should pitch in. SIFF should pitch in; they'd be a good match.

I go to Lee’s in White Center. 9435 Delridge Way SW. It’s not up to McPherson’s quality, but it’s better and far cheaper than the chain groceries.

I’m native, but spent some years away. Wasn’t here when Bruce Harrell was elected, and only been back a year and a half, so I’ve been hesitant to say it, but… I haven’t yet seen squat from Harrell that makes him seem mayor-worthy to me.

KING5 is the worst news website in Seattle, certainly. Even KOMO — a Sinclair station, so the news is frequently slanted toward nuttiness — has a workable website that doesn’t slap users in the face like KING5.
