I feel like it's the glottal T. I know for me, personally, my tongue doesn't touch my teeth, but there is still a T sound. I am not British, though I am from Jersey (New).

My six year old daughter is getting the hanging of the spelling and whatnot, but earlier on in her Kindergarten year, words like "driver," to her, started with a J. I had never thought about it, but it absolutely (at least in our NJ dialect) has a J sound, because, as you say, we all talk fucked up (paraphrasing).

Cruise ship or bust.

And it's just a drawing but I'm trying to realize it in actual size. Cruise ships are huge, pushing 250 or so feet out of the water. That's considered a high-rise in the construction world.

Now I look at that loopdy-lopp and say hey, that boat could fit. I'm ignoring all the other physics and shit and just Matchbox car'g that boat through that loop. That makes that loop like, what, 1000 feet? And that is ignoring the structure beneath the surface, and also the other dimensions of this, and the sheer velocity and volume of water.

So I'm gonna call this one a hard maybe. Perhaps if the world could set aside it's differences, we could do a sort of space race, but instead a ship flip, or a boat float, or some other rhyme.

I’m in Jersey and I do not have that on my home. The only home I can think of that had it was my childhood home. Current home is 1920s, childhood home was probably 50s, teen home was 80s, and lived in various other places after that, and really never saw the access panel, though I agree it makes sense to have.

Form over function, can’t have people judging me for my prudence.

That’s the standard to which I hold myself in most of my endeavors. I’m proud of your treehouse.

I have a two-zone split system in my home, and I put one out in my detached garage, which became my office after a second kid. I hired a company to put the one in my house, since it was my main house and if I fucked it up I’d be paying for it. The one in the garage I did myself, with help from my uncle who is just a fountain of knowledge, which came in handy. Getting the evaporator up on the wall, no problem, I ran the electrical, put it into the panel in the garage, no problem. Only place where I ran into an issue in my knowledge was charging the lines, but I don’t think it’s totally beyond learning.

Anyway, Carrier in my house, and Pioneer out in the garage. As far as how they function, the comparison is a bit apples to oranges, but the garage is fantastic. I went with 19 SEER v. 21 in the house, and I think it’s great for the garage, I sacrifice a little efficiency for it to be able to cool/heat rapidly. I use it in the winter and summer, and I’m in Zone 6A for reference. This will be third summer for them, the Carrier system (May 2021), and the Pioneer was August (although I might not have installed until Octoberish, because I take my time doing things.

Yeah, just anecdotal. I think the main difference I’ve read is warranty support. You will not get comprehensive warranties unless you go big name with professional installer. It reeks of bullshit, but I guess I get it, it’s not something simple.
