I guess I should have looked for links a bit more, that nobel has talked at length about it in many interviews. Anyway this myth has been debunked many times and there are plenty of sources even if you don't make an effort, here is another one.
Even if they limit the statistics to the same sector and full-time jobs, there are still many variables, things like men tend to work more overtime and worse hours. If anything, those who defend this myth should provide evidence that this happens, it makes no sense to defend that it is systemic but only be able to back it up with vague statistics from which they draw whatever conclusions they want.
To give an example of facts in reality, in spain where controls are very hard, there are about 20 convictions a year for wage discrimination, and it is not even only towards women. Purely anecdotal.
It is illegal throughout the west, often monitored and harshly punished. As has been demonstrated time and again for decades, including by recent nobel laureate Claudia Goldin, the wage gap is due to women's choice, most notably motherhood. That women are paid less for the same work is false, a myth.
Anti-feminism ≠ Anti-women. Feminism is a hate movement, which promotes discrimination, sexism and fights against human rights. That is an objective fact, easy to prove just by looking at the kind of laws and speeches that feminist movements, political parties, major influencers, etc. carry out.
If some among you don't want to see the obvious reality, or if you want to fantasize that you support a fanciful "true philosophical feminism," that's your problem. I am very proud to say that, precisely because I am a leftist who greatly value human rights and egalitarianism, I am anti-feminist.
There is a clear right-wing majority on r/MensRights, but I think it's mixed enough and still a good site for discussion, and especially to get valuable content.
But I also have to say that that sub used to be much better, more focused on rights, with stricter mods, even the community would quickly intervene when someone did things like mistaking women for feminism.
I think it is getting worse due to a gradual migration from mgtow.
I find it hard to decide who to hate less because both are so ambiguous about their future. Currently threads doesn't allow access to any of their content without signup and using their damn mobile app, while twitter allows free access from any browser.
On the other hand, twitter is recently limiting access without an account, and threads could have a browser version and federation with the fediverse.
I think it is a big mistake to underestimate the effect of having reached the critical mass of users. It will not die easily (spez is working hard to achieve this), much less quickly.
insisting you're not one of those men's rights guys
MRAs seek gender equality before the law and full human rights for men, MRAs are a branch of egalitarianism. If you think there's something wrong with that, that's your problem.
Even if vulgarity could be removed from language, it cannot be removed from people, it is a futile struggle as language is constantly evolving. At worst it would be counterproductive by being boycotted, at best it would just be another step in the euphemism treadmill.
Appealing to origins doesn't work very well either. People use those words with a clear concrete meaning and all their listeners understand it perfectly well, intentionally misrepresenting it because of its etymology will only get hostility.
