Trains and planes and others are a bit wonky for this chart. If I needed to take get to work, train and plane immediately resort to walking the entire way (unless get in a car, on a bike, fall just after). So while traveling across the country for a trip may be convenient on a train... Wait, unless I only have the weekend or a short work trip/vacation, because then it would take to much time and be inconvenient. Tried to find an example. Travel to Las Vegas from Nashville. Plane, ~3 hour flight plus let's say 2 hour travel and airport bs. So 5 hours there, 5 back. Driving: 26 hours (each way). Walking: Death by dehydration in desert. Train: not even listed as there was no routes.
The state they are from now should counter sue Texas if they try to allow it. 100 billion per attempt to violate their people's rights should start sending a message.
So you agree Trucks and SUVs should pay more than electric cars then right? It is a scale only based on weight and not bias, to make sure they are paying their fair share?
Think it alludes to things around if you have 5 million dollars you can live off it for the rest of your life. If you have 5 billion dollars you can buy a $500,000 house daily and never use a dollar of your initial 5 billion. (Assuming 5% interest). Creating a forever rich family that no one will ever have to work again. That interest all gets pulled from the lower & middle classes slowly draining them and in truth the 5B owner won’t be buying a new house daily, it will just rack up and maybe they will invest in a few other large companies. Until eventually you get a financial distribution that looks similar to what we have today. And it only gets worse unless you can tax in such a way that the wealth feeds back into those lower classes. A person with 20m dollars isn’t much of an issue. A person with 20b dollars can wreck an economic system over time.
The economic system is set up in such a way that rich eventually are taking food out of the poors mouths by breathing. Or not, in the U.S. we had an official state something along the lines of only a fool pays inheritance tax.
Gas hit $4 a gallon in 2008, I paid $2.79 for gas yesterday. The numbers could show what we want to with gas. Working in office sucks and I’d like to be compensated. 1.5 hrs to work and 1 hr home for the most part. So I am around $500 a month gas wise, and 50 hrs a month of used time that I am out. It sucks
