I agree with most people here. Great episode as long as you kinda ignore the fact that only Chapel survived in the saucer section and neither her nor Spock made any attempt to look for anyone else or even acknowledge it.
Rest of the episode I loved and I’m now just a bit sad we are going have to wait so long for the next series.
That being said, I absolutely support the strikes so I’m not complaining about the wait.
So happy that we are getting these updates and bits of positive news.
I really want to be able to series 2 at least… but I wish it could continue properly, my little boys are too young for the show at the moment but I’d love to be able to watch it together and introduce them to Star Trek when they’re that little bit older.
Also doesn’t hurt if we are all supporting this show both by being vocal online and (if people
can afford it) supporting with our wallets. Physical blu-ray (my preference after how much digital and streaming has messed us around) or digital sales.

What an absolutely fantastic episode. Loved every second of it! As soon as it finished I just wanted to watch the whole thing again (but couldn’t because of stupid work)

Enjoyed pretty much everything in this episode except the magic super steroids. The sequence went on for so long… I assumed that I had forgotten something from last series because there’s no way they would have had this to hand the whole time and never thought to use it during any one of the many life and death emergencies?
That aside. Loved the rest of the episode and looking forward to where things go from here (plus really really happy to have weekly Trek again!)
The big problem with the joke here is it’s totally the wrong moment. They’ve disobeyed orders and “stolen” the enterprise but haven’t actually gotten away yet… don’t just sit there messing around!
