@rbreich If he wanted to perform proper social reform, then he should implement Medicare for all, national single payer medical care. This would take care of a lot of the Biden bread crumb solutions sprinkled down to us commoners.

Unemployment has been at or below (mostly below) 4% since the end of 2021.

4 years ago, Trump called it "joyous" &"stupendous" that unemployment was only 13.3%.

In the "booming" Reagan years, unemployment averaged 7.5%.

Pres. Biden is presiding over historically strong growth.

@rbreich The first thing did when he became president was to change the way unemployment was calculated by including all members of the military as employed, something that had never been done before. His unemployment numbers were actually higher compared to prior presidents.

@rbreich I went on disability because I could not find a job due to the way America outsourced job hiring to India in the 2010s. I have a speech impediment, and Indian job recruiters can't speak English that well, nor could they understand me. I was disabled (I still am), gave up on trying to get a job.
The Texas government worked hard on destroying unions, people there are paid less, and that counts as employed. I pity low paid Texas workers who can't unionize.
