@rbreich I went on disability because I could not find a job due to the way America outsourced job hiring to India in the 2010s. I have a speech impediment, and Indian job recruiters can't speak English that well, nor could they understand me. I was disabled (I still am), gave up on trying to get a job.
The Texas government worked hard on destroying unions, people there are paid less, and that counts as employed. I pity low paid Texas workers who can't unionize.
