UraniumBlazer , to aww in Cow sleeping in someone's lap.

Are they sentient? The above qualities describe sentience to a certain degree. Do plants feel grief? Do they feel fear?

UraniumBlazer , to aww in Cow sleeping in someone's lap.

But we’re just militant right?

Those EYYVIL hippies! Telling us not to commit murder??? TELLING US NOT TO DRINK COW TITTY JUICE??? HOW DARE THEYYYY

UraniumBlazer , to aww in Cow sleeping in someone's lap.

Thank you for the post. The mental gymnastics that people go through to justify murdering these animals is crazy

UraniumBlazer , to aww in Cow sleeping in someone's lap.

Awww did we hurt your feelings?

UraniumBlazer , to aww in Cow sleeping in someone's lap.

Animals (cows in this case) feel pain, fear, grief and so on. Plants don't. We can survive just fine without murdering millions of sentient animals.

Killing dogs and eating their meat is animal abuse. Doing the same to cows isn't. Quite hypocritical if you ask me.

Awww so cute! Now lemme murder this beautiful creature so that I can enjoy a good steak for myself! In no storybook would I ever be considered the villain! /s

UraniumBlazer , to Work Reform in CEO pay is rising faster than it has in a decade — and 3 times as fast as worker wages

All thanks to the CEO union- the government

UraniumBlazer , to Work Reform in Kotak’s CEO says Indians should work 84 hours a week

Fun fact: According to the Indian Constitution, India is a "socialist secular Republic". India had incredibly powerful unions till the 90s. After that, liberalisation happened (which led to significant economic progress). This however, destroyed all socialist institutions that were in place.

It has become so bad, that the wealth inequality is now more than it was under the fucking British Raj.

UraniumBlazer , to Ask Science in How dense would the atmosphere need to be to result in a cataclysmic chain reaction during a nuclear explosion?

It would turn scary if the atmosphere would become as dense as the core of a star. Then too, a lot of stuff depends on the type of star we're talking about. Are we talking about some wimpy red dwarf core density? Yeah, we'll fuse the hydrogen in the atmosphere/on the surface all right. U wanna fuse nitrogen? Oof. U'r gonna need a much bigger star than that.

So basically, to become scary, ur atmosphere would have to be a lot more dense than what it would be if it was fkin solid (like if the gases were literally solid). It wouldn't thus be an atmosphere.

So don't worry. Have fun blowing up ur nukes!

UraniumBlazer , to Ask Science in Beyond the established symmetries of physics - Charge, Spin, Color, Time, etc. - is there any such thing as symmetry of Information?

What would ur proposed symmetry of information look like? I think then we can see if there is evidence for it.

UraniumBlazer OP , to Ask Science in How far is reverse aging tech?

Oh wow, the rate of progress everywhere is just so high! What a time to be alive!

UraniumBlazer OP , to Ask Science in How far is reverse aging tech?

Yeah, the antioxidant thing was debunked decades ago. It was the leading hypothesis like pre 2000 from what I know.

UraniumBlazer OP , to Ask Science in How far is reverse aging tech?

So your proposal is transhumanism. Replacing the human body with something different. This is a very interesting discussion for futurology, but I am unaware of any advances in this field.

UraniumBlazer OP , to Ask Science in How far is reverse aging tech?

Who the hell would want to live forever?

I want to have choice over when I die.

What kind of egomaniac thinks they’re so important that continuing to live is a good idea?

So if I break into your house and try to kill you, would you be an egomaniac to resist? If you get a heart attack and if you rush to the hospital to get yourself treated, are you an egomaniac?

UraniumBlazer OP , to Ask Science in How far is reverse aging tech?

Wouldn’t healthspan and lifespan go hand in hand tho? Like… I can’t imagine a 99 year old going for a marathon today and just dropping dead tomorrow due to old age. Wouldn’t an increased healthspan also include an increased lifespan?
