Instance shutdown per 31 Oct 2023 - what's next for /c/fountainpens?

I’ve been having trouble keeping this instance up - right now, it’s a problem with proxy errors between the docker containers as well as with the Ansible scripts. It’s taking too much time to maintain. I’ll be shutting down wayfarershaven.eu per 31 October 2023....

I’m thinking of putting Diamine Writer’s Blood in my TWSBI Eco 1.1 stub. It feels suitably dramatic.

Not currently as Lemmy doesn’t offer a wiki. It would need to be hosted as another service. You could do a wiki type post that we could pin, though.

Robert Oster Smoke Screen - the pictures look great but it’s been boring in every test. It was frustrating because I usually stick with Diamine and felt like wasted money.

Recommendations for a pen stand?

I recently started using a tablet and pen (Wacom Intuos S if you’re curious) for work and I cannot keep track of the pen - it’s slim, black, and blends in with my desk. I know that this is the fountain pen community rather than an ergonomics community, but I bet you all have tips for a pen stand/holder. What do you use to...

I feel like I’ve tried just about everything - YNAB is still the best.

It’s frustrating to have to pay for a third-party service to pull in European bank transactions, though. YNAB is expensive enough on its own.
