If you're not attached to the books (I haven't read them), Foundation does a pretty excellent take on space opera. Multiple interesting planets/ships/technologies/characters. One/three/four(?) REALLY fantastic villain/villains. It's not a 10/10, but I enjoyed it. First season of Silo was also pretty okay. But not really comparable to Star Trek exactly beyond both being sci-fi.

My puppy is a black bernedoodle. So sweet and smart. So much personality.

My dog is cuddly, but from a distance. So she'll lie on my bed, but back-to-back with me, not draped over me. Or have her paws stretched out touching me. But she's not much for actual hugs or being petted while trying to rest. So it's still special the rare times she lies on me like this. The ultimate trust.

    They were unprofitable BEFORE the debacle. Whether this sinks Reddit or not, they are absolutely not too big to fail. They haven't yet figured out how to succeed even.

    Yes, I'm sure Apollo was great, but I never even knew it existed until this whole fiasco, because I jumped to RIF when it was still "Reddit Is Fun" and never looked back, because it did everything I needed, perfectly.

    Not to be conspiratorial, but this is an aspect I've pondered that hasn't gotten much discussion: given spez's fanboy emulation of Musk, we could see Reddit become a lot more right-wing as those voices are the ones allowed to continue, like-minded mods are put in place, etc...which means those folks gain yet another messaging platform. It's not great.
