I don't understand why there's so little comment on the courts inconsistency.

Just a week ago, one conservative judge criticised another for being too black letter in a judgement. One week later all conservative judges created law where there's a week implication from what is written.

Cost of extending the expiring Trump tax cuts: $4.6 trillion.

Cost of proposed additional corporate tax breaks: $1 trillion

This is why Trump and the GOP are obsessed with cutting Social Security and Medicare.

So they can justify another round of giveaways to corporate donors.

@rbreich Across the world parties of the right deliver corporate welfare and free loading for wealthy individuals and companies while demonising social welfare and tax breaks for the poor.

Conservatives say raising the minimum wage would drive up inflation.

But the federal minimum wage hasn't gone up since 2009.

Average CEO pay has gone up about 60% since 2009.

Who's pay is contributing to inflation?

I've come across numerous studies that show there is a point of diminishing returns on increasing CEO pay.

I suspect many companies are at the point where CEO pay levels are more about personal greed and ego than a fair reward.

When this happens, their focus is no longer on the company, ie excessive CEO pay can detrimental to the company.

@rbreich giving huge payouts to CEOs who have or are leaving due safety issues sends a message that Boeing views the allusion of safety is more important than actual safety.
