My cat licks its nose when he wants to eat.

'where's the food human? I am going to sit here in front of you, do a stare contest and shlorp shlorp my nose…'

We have people with Malamutes more than half a kilometer away. I only learned what Malamutes where after I asked my wife wtf that noise was all the time...they are not mutes at all.

Off course, that's just the way it is. The cat living with us always needs the snuggles.

How old is your cat if I may ask?

You are a kind person taking her in and taking care, she made a good choice staying. She looks somewhat older to me (10+) looking at her face. Ours is 17 now, kind to everyone and still in reasonable health, limbs are getting a bit stiff though.

Is there any reason you want to have two DNS servers? I would just disable the dhcp in the ISP router and let the pihole do the dhcp serving. This way your network is ad free as it get's the pihole DNS by default. You then could set any device to the ISP router DNS manually. Just saves a lot of hassle, space, electricity and headaches when something goes wrong.
