@georgetakei in the UK we have John Cleese who used to be funny.
Now he is part of the gammon munching moanerati.

Constantly going on about how everything used to be better 'when I were a lad'.

Some folk get stuck in their ways and bemoan anything current.

Worth remembering that the American notion of 'left' is considered centre-right in most European countries.

The nearest USA got to a left president was Eugene Debs who was a trade unionist who campaigned from prison. He didn't win.

Ever notice how forgiving loans is suddenly a big problem when students get much-needed relief, but nobody blinks an eye when billionaires get their PPP loans forgiven? Or when corporations are handed billions in subsidies?

@rbreich because students don't provide politicians with kick backs?

It's their own fault for not engaging with providing them with campaign donations. Seems they didn't learn the right stuff at college.
