Plasma and apps for mobile also getting overhauled for 6.

It's not only Plasma on the desktop that is getting a new version, as Devin Lin explains in his blog post,

https://espi.dev/posts/2023/12/plasma-mobile-towards-6/

developers are working hard on getting 6 ready for the scheduled for February.

njordomir ,

Same here. I prefer to do 9/10 tasks on a desktop vs a phone, but sometimes I leave the house to go places. I would love to be able to dock my phone and carry a folding mouse rather than having to manage syncing a device for each stage of portability.

Pay your own tribute to a desktop that once ruled the 90s Unix world with Commonality, the fourth and final (for now) entry in Off-Theme:

I’m cool with you stopping for now because I’m still vibing with this all-purple drip from last time, but I’ll be genuinely sad if we don’t get another one of these quality theme showcases in the future!

Give your desktop a strikingly lustrous look with Shades of Purple, the third theme in the Off-Theme series.

njordomir ,

Thank you for sharing these articles. Seeing how some of these themes look when configured “properly”, vs how they look when I cobble them together with icons, plasma, cursers, wallpapers, etc. of my choosing is really interesting. KDE Plasma is looking beautiful!
