Hello all. I am using zabbix to monitor my system, and the zabbix agent user is obviously not elevated in any way. I would like to give my zabbix user the ability to run some zfs commands to query information about my pools....
So this is something that's rumbled around in my head for a while and I'd like to see if I can get an answer here but I'm not sure I can word it correctly. Quick disclaimer, this is all 'as I understand it' not factual or even researched by any means so it may all just be a bunch of bullshit. Essentially the questionI have is...
Blocking isn't working, can't view my notifcations, both get the weird error screen, is anyone at all still working on kbin, is anyone out there to assist in fixing these things?
I am working on a project made of African mahogany. It’s a wall mount for our guitars that will stay indoors. I have a water based polyurethane stain. I’m going for a darker stain. I’ve put a layer on my test piece and it’s a nice color and spreads on well but it has no shine. From what I understand, more layers with...
So I've been in King and Snohomish county now for basically a decade, and even though I have a G2G account, and have had for years, has this thing ever worked?...
I want to get into writing (primarily political), and while I've written some to those, I want to get as far away from centralized social media as I can.
Yes I am thinking of using my little TV (composite AV input only (from an HDMI-to-composite dongle)) as my second display. Going command line-only would be ok if I don't have a choice, but then I watch miniDV and VCD footages sometimes. My Mint machine was broken so i didn't have a chance to test that. So not sure if it could go...
So I got used to the new Reddit UI, but I want to move to Kbin because Reddit is slowly dying. But I have a hard time adapting to the Kbin UI. Is it a third-party Kbin UI that looks like the new Reddit UI?
I just bought a "new" homelab server and am considering adding in some used/refurbished NVIDIA Tesla K80s. They have 24 GB of VRAM and tons of compute power for very cheap if you get them used....
Everyone seems to be pointing to the Microsoft EEE model without explaining how it has changed since the 90s. Here's what it will look like in today's tech climate. (I forgot to mention in this wall of text that there will probably be a name change or two. Especially if there's a major controversy.)...
Am I the only one who is annoyed by kbin PWA auto rotate? It always auto rotate even when I turn off auto rotate on my phone. This make it unusable when trying to use it when lying down. It always switched to landscape mode when I try to use it on my bed and it drives me crazy.
All 6000-ish of it lol. I'd been registered user for close on five years and I only made use of it for a couple more before that. But boy did Reddit help me out in a variety of ways small and big. And helped me waste time. Some would say too much time. Some would be right....
The Fediverse must be very careful to avoid getting branded as the "alternative to X". In my experience, platforms that have historically branded themselves as "alternative to" or "anti-" have generally not done well. Learned this from the last Reddit exodus: let's make this one different!...
