Hello Kbin,...

Edit: alright I'm sticking this up here because a number of people seem confused--this post isn't trying to convince you that "fediverse" is a bad term--rather it's a discussion of why I think "threadiverse" is a good umbrella term, for the forum-based part of the fediverse specifically. (lemmy+kbin)...
The term “marriage strike” has gained some currency in recent years. Any good strike needs a specific set of demands. After some consideration I’ve come up with the below list of demands. I’d appreciate any suggestions for improvements. I know some points could be a little more specific, like #7. Maybe this can serve as...
I've had a number of items I've wanted to save for future reference. I can't seem to find an option on the Furefox mobile site that allows me to do that....

I get it that things can have unfortunate names, but I've seen a lot of people proudly claim lemmy is "federated" or a "federation". Isn't a federation actually against what people want out of the fediverse?...
Hey, I use the Adobe Suite for daily use to build and develop posts and videos for multiple people and can't have my workflow slow down by learning a new application, I've looked into Linux a few times and want to really move over in the future but due to it not having support for Adobe, I'm not sure what to do....
Hello @politics!...
I realized that there are alot of inactive communities across the Lemmy and kbin instances. The beauty of decentralization is that we don't rely on a central instance, if a fediverse instance becomes the central one that hosts the majority of posts, then if that instance goes down, we lose alot. I also suggest posting to small...

I have always configured a web server to default to a certain domain that I'm pointing to it. I just setup a web server with a few domains on it and realized I should be using a default sites-available config... I think....
It seems that the community once concentrated at LWMA is now fractured. Some are here, some stayed and I suspect that some will follow thetinmen in his boycott....
Right now, we are frequently posting contents and interacting with the communities in order to make Fediverse more alive and more "social" as social media. But really, compared to Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, we probably don't even exist....
Could we get all the former subreddit mods who migrated to lemmy/kbin to unite and make some promo for lemmy/kbin on /r/place?
Quick Wikipedia Summary:...
Calckey has been one of the more popular Fediverse apps for a while now, and just of today they did a major rebranding....
Currently Im taking all my notes at work digitally again, after using my trusty Fountain pens for a while, because its just so more convenient. I really like the thought of taking notes to do lists again on paper. I seem to better recall written text and I like the attention it takes to think about What to write down and...
When I first joined Kbin I didn't think nothing of it, I had already been enjoying and using Lemmy as well as Mastodon and other parts of the Fediverse, So I knew what I was roughly getting into but didn't release how much Kbin had to offer....
/r/personalfinance was one of my more frequented subreddits and I find it pretty valuable. I figure I should try to help get the ball rolling over in the Fediverse and it seems like this is the most active substitute so far....
So I've finally been doing my little reddit/twitter migration against my better judgement (my better judgement would say to take the opportunity to get off the internet but who listens to that loser). I'm finding all these platforms interesting, I particularly like how kbin combines both formats and links up to Mastodon, that's...
Apologies if I'm off base here, but I have two issues I'm trying to solve and unsure where I should start - whether these are two separate issues to solve or if I should get something that can do both....
