Certainly some. But unless there’s been a massive change in circumstances or character (e.g. named in a criminal case, or turned against their supporters), you’re unlikely to get results. The same people that voted them into office would have to vote them out. This goes against the entire premise of the incumbent advantage.
Doesn’t this leave the original lawyer open to some sort of complaint. If he told his client to perjure himself then surely this can have consequences.
Outside of explicit and clearly labeled parody and satire, I'm starting to settle pretty securely on the idea that it should be illegal to use someone's likeness in a convincing manner without their permission.
There are absolutely a huge number of idiots who would take up arms over a drepfake of Biden announcing some kind of crackdown on Trump supporters or some idiotic bullshit like that.
if all goes well–by which i mean if the DEA doesn’t do something stupid–this should lead to marijuana being moved to schedule III (the same schedule category as anabolic steroids and ketamine) later this year.
