I have been playing with the NUT UPS utility, and have setup a NUT server on my Raspberry Pi....

I bought an Optiplex 3080 SFF and bought upgrade parts for it but now it isn’t running and I don’t have enough troubleshooting skills to tell if the MOBO is dead or if the power button is dead. 😅...

Anyone have any advice on how to choose between TruNAS, openmediavault, etc for homelab. I want to run nextcloud and jellyfin and maybe some VMs, though I also don’t really think that RAID is the best option for future proofing but I could be wrong.

Btrfs gets a bad rap sometimes but I have been using it for years and it works very well. It is able to take failing hardware and power outages and still has good performance.
