Here in Oklahoma, it is near impossible to find the judgement history of judges on the ballot. I wish local news investigators would publish this information.
@rbreich Plus, though judicial elections are "nonpartisan" it doesn't take much research to figure out what beliefs judges will bring with them if elected.
@rbreich I think voters across the country are paying more attention to down ballot races now. People are finally realizing what complacency has cost them.

I didn't start paying attention to judicial candidates until after 2016, that's for sure. 😕 A major problem, though, is that those judges who are subject to elections are frequently permanently incumbent because there are few challengers (at least in my state).
