@georgetakei I have heard it said that English is a strange language. English is not a strange language! English is a creole made up of 47 (at last count) languages several of which are strange and none of which combine naturally in a way that lends itself to rules. English is a pirate language. It's his other languages from a distance, sails down the wind to fire a shot across their bow, that steals odd words and grammatical structures and sales away claiming them as its own.
