We're now in the 27th consecutive month of unemployment below 4%. We haven't seen this since the 1960s. This is what can happen when you fight back against trickle-down economic nonsense and invest in American workers.

@rbreich This is what happens as the largest generation retires out. It's a vacuum that pulls in what little incoming workforce there is. It has nothing to do with fighting trickle-down economics unfortunately.

@rbreich this is the 27 time I’ll explain that unemployment numbers nonsense doesn’t matter to people who wanted jobs. It doesn’t recognize people, it only recognizes the flaw math made by the government under their control.

@rbreich there are 2 different numbers, Robert, and as the ex labor secretary you know this better than most of us.

UNDER-EMPLOYMENT, Rob, vs UNEMPLOYMENT. Unemployment is calculated based on CLAIMS FILED that quarter. When they stop coming, unemployment is down, right? Wrong.

UNDER-EMPLOYMENT - people who cant find work, have given up, are outside the workforce is higher than ever! Nearly 1m people living in tents, and rising daily!

NO! This is a standard lie.

@rbreich

Fun FACT!!

Trump thinks this is bad. Trump specifically stated that numbers this low have never been seen before and its because Biden is a bad president..................

@rbreich The 60's. Back when the baby boom was still in school--consumers.
Unemployment went up when they needed jobs.

@rbreich I'm European, and I read more and more about Americans not earning a living wage, or needing a second or even third job to make ends meet. This makes me wonder what the importance of the unemployment number really is (I don't know much about economy). What I mean is: can you compare the 6% unemployment in Europe with the 4% in the US, when a significantly larger number of Europeans can make a decent living with one job? (I'm not suggesting you ARE comparing, just curious).

@rbreich And Joe Biden will still lose because he won't listen to a single American under the age of 40.
