@arstechnica Though I do believe AI will become pervasive, I'm hoping for companies to try to push it so hard and so fast that the world eventually has enough and revolts. It feels sort of like a creeping Metaverse situation in which these companies learned a few lessons but not enough to prevent them from moving too quickly.
@arstechnica Who out there is actually asking for this? I'm not going to be updating my hardware anytime soon, and AI hype isn't going to get me moving any faster.
@arstechnica the embarrassment is that AI is yet again being shoved down our throats just so it can spy on us and activities so giant asshats like Microsoft can then monetize OUR DATA!
