Effective tax rates before and after the Trump tax law:

Verizon
Before: 21%
After: 8%

Walmart
Before: 31%
After: 17%

AT&T
Before: 13%
After: 3%

Walt Disney
Before: 26%
After: 8%

FedEx
Before: 18%
After: 1%

This is what a corporate giveaway looks like.

@rbreich wait. Isn't FedEx a competitor with the USPS the Trump loving Postmaster General is running into the ground?

@rbreich Lots of extra funds for continued lobbying and bribery, not much for education, healthcare, the arts, libraries, scientific research or holidays. Add AI profiteering and we get the dimming of our imaginations by a kakistocracy.

@rbreich

Its important to warn, but also important to celebrate.
Biden CANCELLED those tax thefts to corporations, a trillion dollars of corruption and unfairness.

THEN Biden ADDED a tax, just on the un-taxed largest corporations, who had not paid taxes since BOOMERS went to high school.

Then spent that money on massive offshore windfarms and free heat pumps for your home, and 7 BILLION in residential solar grants.

You might want the last two, because heat death is coming to your state.

Taxing the rich isn't enough. The working class has to take action and forcefully seize control of the means of production, dismantling the capitalist system to establish a society based on mutual aid and collective ownership.

    Westinghouse, Lokheed-Martin, Raetheon

    Before Biden
    -80%
    After Biden
    -340%

that is your reverse welfare state in action, blue or red doesn't matter, just different lobbies.

The only way out in resetting capitalism is to start before total currency collapse

    The clock is ticking

Subsidies for the poor? An abhorrent moral hazard.

Subsidies for the wealthiest corporations on the planet? Necessary incentives.
