@georgetakei Huh. I thought they were struggling because of corporate shenanigans specifically designed to get wealth out of one company and into other investors' before it declared bankruptcy. They didn't mention that, did they.

@georgetakei vulture capitalism is the soup dujour. The owner group sold the land under the restaurants to a company they also owned. Then charged high rent to the restaurants. The company that supplied the shrimp was also owned by the same group that owned the restaurants. The "all you can eat shrimp" stripped the last of the cash from red lobster.
