@rbreich Perhaps the GOP is afraid to admit that they’ve put all their eggs in one proverbial basket. They have no one else with the star power that conforms to their Trumpist mentality. Any traditional Republicans have been sent to Trump reeducation ‘camps’ for reprogramming.
As long as there is something to gain personally by keeping T. in the game, every single one should ask themselves, where does reason and decency end and prostitution actually begins. Hitler, Stalin, Putin, etc didn't flourish in a vacuum. In comparison to this human garbage, Kanzler Scholz actually seems to be a nice guy - from a german perspective. Hope you can fix it anyway. Hope penalties in the next trials will reflect, that T. is a convicted felon and parole is off the table.
@rbreich A "fun" thought experiment is to consider what the right wing media would be saying about Obama if he'd become a convicted felon during the 2012 race.
@rbreich Where are the Republicans calling for him to drop out. Trump cheated the people of New York and the people of the USA. He can't be allowed to cheat us out of justice. He can't be allowed to burn down this nation by fixing the books again! We can't allow any of it!
@rbreich
If the people in the back rooms of left-wing power believe Mr. Trump is on the way down (electorally speaking), they won't do much to urge the R's to pick a new leader.
