Convicted felon Donald Trump has succeeded in getting his three remaining criminal trials postponed indefinitely.
If he really thought he was innocent of the 54 remaining charges, don't you think he'd want the trials to happen before the election so he could clear his name?
@rbreich his followers don’t love him because he’s innocent, but because they love how their orange god consistently gets away with blatant criminal behavior. In a way these trials are helping him. He’s doing exactly what he should be doing, which is not surprising for a seasoned con-man.
I feel like I could also be a convinced felon for slashing the tires of an anti-LGBTQ truck here in Poland. There are people being charged with felony over helping out other desperate people carry out abortion, because it's officially outlawed. My point is, doing a morally good thing can get you being a felon because of the nature of the laws. There are bad laws.
And I feel like in case of Trump it's not the felony that makes him bad. It's being a creep, racist, millionaire, a crook, an asshole, a grifter, a cult leader, a fascist and most of all - rapist.
I feel like we need to put more emphasis on that. Especially the rapist part.
@rbreich He won't win the election, so it's a futile exercise. The next 4.5 years will be more of the same whining from both sides of politics, with no real progress toward cohesion. All parties, right, left & centre, are on corporate payrolls, so I doubt we'll see any fundamental change. What I do however foresee is more people voting independent, which can only be a good thing #politics#trump#biden#independant
