@arstechnica A good reminder of why people never should have been ok with EVs relying so heavily on closed, proprietary software... I never understood how people accepted this in something as costly and vital as a vehicle.

@arstechnica I've told my EV curious friends for tears that it's F for Fraud Fisker. Car designers should not try to make car companies. Design is nice but it's not the car or the factory or the business. I can't believe anyone bought one of these with future failure so obvious from the start.

@arstechnica um, software upgrades should be part of both upgrades and spare parts guarantees.

Just saying.

I’m probably at least 10 years ahead of any legislation in the field, but from where I’m standing it’s pretty obvious.

@arstechnica no actually i think parts are the most crucial thing, software can go eat a 🍆, I never asked for my car to turn into Windows
