    Whether something “fits” and whether something is canon are completely different questions.

    If you’re wondering what “the fans” think, and you’re a fan, you already have the best possible answer to the question.

    Unpopular opinion: The Enterprise Intro is the only one I don’t skip usually.

    @GaiusGornicusCaesar The intros have been really bad since DS9 starting with Voyager. Loved that they ditched them completely for Picard S3 in favor of the First Contact theme outro that actually kind of choked me up the first time as I wasn’t expecting it.

    I’d be onboard with outros as a whole. Discovery, SNW, and Lower Decks all have the most generic placeholder sounding intro music ever.

    At least Enterprise’s theme was iconic even if it was just bad in a different way.

    None of the books are really considered canon, but personally if I like a book well enough I call it canon until proven otherwise. Especially in cases like this one!

    I’ve never read it and I can’t wait to experience it with the man himself narrating!
