Work colleague crystallised their losses during the GFC by selling their 401k and changing the asset allocation to Cash.

They didn’t convert it back to stocks until 2018…

Interesting that people’s lowest income expectation has increased. Hopefully that leads to more industrial action.

It’s not ‘play’ money.

It’s money you’re using to buy investments/savings/a future retirement.

When you start to see it as money that’s already allocated to a regular ‘bill’ you won’t see it as money you can spend.
