@georgetakei Aren't those the numbers that have been recommended since the 1970's and the oil embargo back then? I've used those temps for almost 50 years, now, but it's the same reaction people had to getting poked with a needle to prevent dying.
20 Republican attorneys general are demanding that the Supreme Court block individual states like California from suing Big Oil for their climate impacts.
Funny how conservatives only believe in "states rights" for certain issues.
@rbreich Isn't it about time to acknowledge that the Republican party is the party of people who are paid by other countries to damage the US? Russians, Chinese, and anybody in competition with the US for anything, including corporations who want to get richer?
@georgetakei I want to say "But they aren't Christian" - however, 'good' Christians have refused to condemn this kind of thing for decades, and at some point I have to say, "You're absolutely right."
@georgetakei I believe they learned that the 'One Million Moms' organization turned out to be a sewing circle of Karens? Fortunately, where I live we've decided they deserve all the scorn of Westboro Baptist 'Church'.
@georgetakei For me, 90% of what Boebert says is utter garbage and not worth the time it would take to listen to. The other 10% is utter garbage that wouldn't be worth the time it would take to listen if not for the legion of brownshirts who seem eager to follow her lead.
@rbreich Yes, just as they're responsible for damage they cause. Contributing to an accidental manslaughter, in the case of a child who shoots someone, since (if the child is young) a child is presumed to be unable to make decisions on their own.
