DigitalTraveler42 , to Ask Science in This is probably a dumb question, but if we eliminate the hydrophobia caused by rabies, would it increase the survival rate of active rabies?

Nah that movie was about how human men are biologically flawed and that our cock and balls should be internal in some kind of clam shell like thing.

DigitalTraveler42 , to Work Reform in If you work in a mostly female workplace, are you expected to hate/dislike the patients your female coworkers dislike?

“Should I use my brain to make my own decisions, or should I save CPU and RAM by being an NPC?”

DigitalTraveler42 , to Work Reform in A billionaire wrote this letter to Google a year ago. How likely is that Google's layoffs and actions since then are at least partly because of this?

This guy looks like evil John Oliver:

DigitalTraveler42 , to Star Trek in New Star Trek Movie Director Is A Fan And Directed The ‘Black Mirror’ Trek Episode “USS Callister”

That’s why Willful Child is probably the better Star Trek fanfic, where it’s like “what if we really emphasized how much of a misogynistic asshole Kirk could have been?” Or “what if we merged Kirk with Zapp Brannigan?”

DigitalTraveler42 , to Star Trek in New Star Trek Movie Director Is A Fan And Directed The ‘Black Mirror’ Trek Episode “USS Callister”

They should make that black mirror episode into a series as a contrast to The Orville.

Also good is John Scalzi’s Red Shirts or Steven Erickson’s Willful Child

DigitalTraveler42 , to Politics in The Trump campaign embraces Jan. 6 rioters with money and pardon promises

Your comment doesn’t match the content, nobody is trying to let him lie in this article, it’s just pointing out that Trump and the GOP are pretending these traitors are “political prisoners” and he’s lying to them about pardons and money, he’s not going to give AF about any of these idiots even if ue takes power, unless of course it suits him somehow, like if they have a million bucks they want to trade for their freedom, like how Lil Wayne, Kodak Black and others paid Trump for pardons in Trump’s first term in office.

DigitalTraveler42 , to Politics in Biden campaign sends memo to media outlets asserting disparity in polling coverage

Most of these polls operate by calling people, most people Gen X and younger don’t pick up their phones for unknown callers, so it’s mostly old people being polled, plus the polls from conservative pollers purposely target conservative areas knowing that it will skew the polls how they intend for the polls to lean.

The last few elections should show that people are still overwhelmingly voting Democrat, but things are still far closer than they should be so we all gotta get out there and vote like our freedom from fascism depends on it, because it absolutely does.

DigitalTraveler42 , to Star Trek in Officer Training in days of NX-01

I’m pretty sure they were using San Francisco as a fleet academy, there were a whole lot of officers there, and eventually San Francisco became where Star Fleet command was headquartered.

One other thought though, the people on NX-01 were some of the most foremost experts in their fields, Archer recruited his Comm officer from Academia, Archer himself had been assisting his father with his work on the ship itself, a lot of these people were possibly recruited straight from being Frontline experts in their field or from Academia and college.

DigitalTraveler42 , (edited ) to Politics in The GOP War on Wokeness Could Shut Down the Government

Just like they’ve been doing for the last 40 years.

DigitalTraveler42 , to Star Trek in Braga: ‘I still cringe when I hear it.’ Apparently, it was a long road to the franchise’s most despised title music

The first season version, absolutely, but the seasons after they changed it to the acoustic version, much much better.

DigitalTraveler42 , to Politics in Trump Announces Plans to Finally Go Ahead and Prove Election Was Rigged

He really does have a habit of exposing them doesn’t he? That’s always a fun bonus when it happens, kinda like the Madison Cawthorn “Republican cocaine orgies”, it’s always fun to watch them hurt themselves in their confusion.

DigitalTraveler42 , to Politics in Kids' Cartoon From Conservative University Claims That Slavery Was 'No Big Deal'

Despite the name, PragerU is not an academic institution and does not hold classes, does not grant certifications or diplomas, and is not accredited by any recognized body.

DigitalTraveler42 , to Work Reform in 400% turnover rate

I’m pretty sure the text tells you, prior to the 1980’s, but they probably mean more the 50’s and 60’s, the 70’s was definitely a down economic era in the US.

Reagan’s administration did a lot of de-regulation, privatization, and cost cutting that are causing now catastrophic consequences on the country. Clinton also screwed the pooch with the NAFTA agreement , Nixon never found a union he didn’t want to crush, we can keep going like this about the screwing of the middle class by other presidents, but none were more destructive and consequential than Reagan.

DigitalTraveler42 , to Politics in Trump’s lawyer drops an unsettling hint about his defense strategy

Except that this strategy won’t work because there’s all kinds of evidence that Trump knew he lost, but Trump is going to definitely try to scapegoat a bunch of his lackeys for this, like Eastman and Giuliani.

Also I love that these idiots keep on going on television to tell the world what their strategy is, which includes the prosecutors on these cases, it’s just like Trump going on television or other forms of media to admit his crimes, but hey it’ll make the prosecutors jobs easier.

DigitalTraveler42 , to Politics in U.S. v. Trump Is the Most Important Criminal Prosecution in American History

Leading nation-states isn’t a black and white thing, there’s always going to be decisions that have to be made based on the information those leaders have at that moment and sometimes those decisions have negative consequences.

However with that being said there has never been an American president that was an outright corrupt traitor like Trump was, he was purely out for himself and selling the rest of us out to the probably not even the highest bidder, probably more the bidder that was the best at sucking up to Trump or promising him the best stuff.
