@georgetakei I knew a Methodist college chaplain who had been advised by a rabbi to make appointments with herself so she could say "Sorry I have an appointment already then."

@georgetakei I stopped reading the NYT in the early 1990s as i thought they were too conservative on many issues. As I worked in a bookstore then I still scanned it to help anticipate topics for customer requests but no longer read articles.
